Led Zeppelin’s 1975 tour was fraught with issues. It started after the longest break the band had taken between concerts, and some critics panned the performances as rusty. Page broke his ring finger on the European leg of the tour, and Plant contracted influenza – which affected his legendary voice. The last leg of the tour was cancelled after Plant had a serious car accident in Greece. The band recorded the album Presence during his recovery instead of continuing to tour. Zeppelin defied their critics and soared to superstardom, with all nine of their studio albums landing in the top ten of the Billboard charts. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 and endures as one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
